Campaign Goal

It is essential we raise $150,000 to support Indiana's civic education programs in 2011. Giving online is easy and secure. 

The volunteer support from attorneys throughout Indiana has provided a solid base for continuing the We the People programs statewide.  More than 6,000 students currently learn about the U.S. Constitution with this educational model. Improving attorneys’ awareness of the programs will increase the programs’ profiles in the legal, education and legislative communities.  Increased awareness among these groups will garner attention to a vital subject rarely taught in today’s schools.

In addition, support by the legal community is critical for convincing private foundations to support civic education. If private and corporate funders see widespread support from the legal community, they are more inclined to lend their support.
